All 4K Sony Projectors use exceptional optics but sharp focus edge to edge can still be challenging. To further optimize focus, these units are also equipped with digital processing. Digital processing compensates in advance for any possible optical degradation of the lens, then outputs the optimum corrected image to ensure the focus in the corners is even better.
