The P1 Jr. was the last of the five pico projectors to arrive. It is also the least expensive with an offical price of only $119. (I’ll be repeating that quite a bit.) Although the P1 Jr. isn’t as feature laden as some of the others, it proved to be surpisingly capable, especially in light of last year’s projectors. And, like all the other pico projectors tested, it has an incredibly long life LED light source, instead of a conventional lamp.
Unlike most of the other pico projectors, the P1 Jr. uses an LCoS chip rather than the more commonly found DLP chips. The P1 Jr is capable of doing presentations, and watching videos, pictures, anything you can bring in through its AV input, with stereo and composite video. There’s an SD card slot, and that works with the onboard media player to let you do those presentations, or view the videos and images.
