The Acer H5360 DLP projector is native WXGA projector with a resolution of 1280×720. It has some unique design characteristics. For instance the remote slides into a top compartment on top of the projector so it serves double duty has a control panel and a place to keep your remote when not in use. The H5360 is pretty bright at rated 2500 lumens of brightness. And, as you will read in our performance section it performs very close to its manufacturer rating. The Acer is quiet as well. Just 32db even when it is performing in its brightest mode.
Acer has made this projector PC 3D ready. It has inputs for HDMI and Component video without the need for special adapters. Most projectors sold today only provide the typical VGA input and the user must purchase an adapter for displaying component video.
The projector also features a manual zoom lens and a manual focus. Although the projector does feature a speaker it is just a 2W mono speaker. You will want to consider a seperate sound system should you plan to present audio to a large crowd.
There are a fair amount of color modes built into the projector and all are easily accessed via the very intuitive and well thought out control panel. Read on to learn more about the particulars of the Acer H5360 projector.
