Epson Brightlink Pro 1410Wi Interactive Projector Review

This Epson 1410Wi projector is built to be both super sophisticated, yet user friendly solution for corporate boardrooms and conference rooms where having both powerful and easy to understand and use technology is appreciated.  It also has some impressive cosmetic options to make it look extremely professional and “classy” for those executive board rooms.  Basic or fancy, though, the projector offers up some serious capabilities. Here’s one of the “enhanced” configurations of the Epson Brightlink Pro 1410Wi , with a matching whiteboard that comes with this configuration:  From an MSRP standpoint (list price), the Brightlink Pro 1410 Wi base configuration is $2999, but other configurations up to $3999 include a decorative covers to partially hide the projector as well as a large whiteboard in matching trims.   Below with wood grain type trim. We’re talking serious dress up for the corporate board room. Now we normally think first that a projector hooks up to computers, or video sources, perhaps USB…  In the case of the Brightlink Pro 1410Wi, it does all of that and more, however, it also works without a computer.  At it’s most basic this Epson projector, works as an interactive whiteboard, that let’s you write on a whiteboard with pens, save and print out the information.   But of course, you can throw a computer source in there, or other sources, and write on top of them – you know – interactive presenting, and also save or print the combined data/images. Imagine.  The Brightlink Pro 1410Wi is mounted on the wall inches above a whiteboard.  No surprises there, but, wait, there’s other “stuff” in the box. Of course, as you assumed, this projector is loaded with interactive features, afterall, the education oriented Brightlink 485Wi, received one of our top education awards: Best In Classroom:  Interactive projector.  Folks, the Epson Brightlink Pro 1410 exceeds the interactive abilities of the top of theline Epson education oriented projector. The Epson Brightlink Pro 1410Wi starts out very similar to Epson’s Brightlink 485Wi, physically, and in general operation, but the standard version of the Epson Pro 1410Wi is almos, over $1000 more.  Like the education Brightlink 1410Wi, it has onboard networking including Crestron RoomView support, and it also offers wireless networking optionally with a small wifi module (as does the 1410Wi), which we got to play with this time! What else you ask?  The projector comes with 2 interactive pens (yes, you can use both at the same time – two users at once.
