Viewsonic PJD6350 Projector Review – Summary

VIEWSONIC PJD6350 PROJECTOR REVIEW – SUMMARY: The Bottom Line, Pros, Cons

The Bottom Line

The Viewsonic PJD6350 combines very good performance with a nice feature set.  Its ability to project HD video from iPads or Android tablets (using the optional wireless dongle) sets it apart from much of the competition.   Also, the advanced menu adjustments available allow the user to tailor the PJD6350’s color balance to their taste.  Noise level in any lamp mode is lower than other projectors in this price range and the built-in 10 watt SonicExpert™ speaker system provides adequate sound levels without external, powered speakers.

Overall, the PJD6350 should be seriously considered for anyone looking for a bright XGA projector with wireless projection capability.  Whether you’re performing a presentation with or without sound, or playing videos, the PJD6350 displays a sharp image with very good color reproduction.  It’s a bit pricey compared to the completion, especially if you add the wireless dongle, but that may be offset by the excellent lamp life.   Another of Viewsonic’s best selling points is its good warranty and support.   My only caveat is that most content that would be streamed through a wireless dongle is at widescreen resolution, so some buyers may wish to wait until the widescreen models are released.  Other than that,  you can’t go wrong with the Viewsonic PJD6350.
